Job Description

We are hiring for the role of Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities

Conduct daily
Tool Box Talks (TBT)
and safety awareness sessions.
Ensure workers use appropriate
PPE
and follow safety protocols.
Carry out site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Assist in preparing and implementing
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
and
Work Method Statements (WMS)
.
Maintain safety documentation: incident reports, safety checklists, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to enforce safety measures.
Report unsafe acts, near misses, and accidents; follow up with preventive actions.
Promote a strong
safety culture
at project sites.

Candidate Profile

Education:
Diploma / Bachelors in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Civil Engineering.
Experience:
1 - 5 years in safety operations (preferably in building construction/maintenance projects).
Familiar with
risk assessment, incident reporting, SWMS/WMS, and work permit systems
.
Basic knowledge of
civil, electrical, and structural
site operations.
Strong observation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
