ADIS / PDIS from a recognized State Board (Mandatory)

Experience:

3 to 8 years
of relevant experience in
construction safety
, preferably in
steel plant erection, fabrication, or heavy structural work
.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with
OSHA, Factory Act, IS codes
, and other applicable safety regulations.
Maintain all statutory records and documentation related to safety.

Implement and monitor
site-specific safety plans
.
Conduct
daily safety inspections
, audits, and walkthroughs.
Ensure
Permit to Work (PTW)
systems are followed for high-risk activities (hot work, height work, confined space, etc.).

Conduct
HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
and
Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective/preventive actions.

Conduct
safety induction
for new workers and subcontractors.
Organize
toolbox talks
, mock drills, and refresher training sessions.
Promote a
positive safety culture
across the site.

Investigate
accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
.
Prepare
incident reports
and ensure implementation of corrective actions.

Ensure proper usage and availability of
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
.
Monitor safety of
lifting tools, tackles, scaffolding, and machinery
.

Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and EHS leads.
Submit
daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
to management.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Karnataka local candidates
will be given first preference.
Strong knowledge of
steel structure erection safety
.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to handle
multi-contractor environments
.
