The Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site interior construction activities, ensuring projects are executed according to design, quality standards, timeline, and safety requirements. The role involves managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out projects such as commercial spaces, residences, retail outlets, hotels, or offices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Supervision & Execution Oversee daily interior fit-out activities on site. Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, technicians, and suppliers. Verify installation of materials (e.g., gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination). 2. Project Coordination Coordinate with project managers, architects, designers, and MEP teams. Attend site meetings and provide progress updates. Plan work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist in resolving design or technical discrepancies on site. 3. Quality Control Conduct site inspections and quality checks at each stage of work. Ensure materials used comply with approved samples and specifications. Report any non-conformities and implement corrective actions. 4. Safety Management Ensure all workers follow safety rules and procedures. Monitor site to identify and eliminate potential hazards. Maintain documentation related to safety compliance. 5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily site reports, progress logs, and material usage reports. Maintain records of site measurements and assist in preparing BOQs. Coordinate material requests and inventory management.
