The Quality Engineer role at Granicus is for quality engineers growing their technical and software development skills testing our products in a SaaS based environment. Their key focus is on developing automated tests for product-driven features within the Granicus product suite. As an Engineering Manager, you will be referring to the Director of Engineering based in Europe. You will take responsibility for building up and leading two agile software development teams and establishing efficient development processes together with experienced teams, both in Noida and Europe. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Building up, leading, and growing two agile teams of highly skilled Software Engineers within the Investment Operations / Collateral Product Areas, including the responsibility for staffing and team development. Working closely with Product Management to understand and refine the customer outcomes that you and your teams are responsible for delivering. Leading the day-to-day work of the scrum teams and having responsibility for both the short-term business deliverables and the long-term improvements. Enabling the team to deliver according to expectations, create transparency in delivery progress, identify potential delivery risks and come up with measures to mitigate risks. Collaborating with other engineering leaders on improvements within the product area, such as product quality, security, delivery, system performance, etc.. The SimCorp Dimension product was originally designed for running on-premises with clients, utilizing hardware resources being available 24/7. As we are moving our business model towards being a SaaS provider and based on Microsoft Azure, we need to re-implement our core platform to be efficient on dynamic Azure infrastructure with a deliberate focus on the cost of compute. You’ll be part of a new engineering team in the Transactions & Private Debt product area, contributing to everything from architecture and component design to performance and accessibility and responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications. The ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn APL (A Programming Language). Prior experience with APL isn’t required—we provide comprehensive training and a supportive environment to help you succeed. Our company also partly owns Dyalog APL, ensuring the language remains actively maintained and relevant. The Transactions & Private Debt product area consists of four teams, each with four to seven software engineers across several geographical locations.
