Description

The Rural Development Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life in rural areas by implementing development programs and initiatives. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to identify community needs and provide sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct surveys and assessments to identify the needs of rural communities.
Develop and implement programs aimed at improving rural livelihoods and infrastructure.
Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders to promote sustainable development initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of rural development projects and report findings to relevant authorities.
Facilitate training and workshops for community members to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Rural Development, Agriculture, Social Work, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in rural development, community engagement, or project management.
Strong understanding of rural issues and development practices in India.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis, including experience with statistical software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of government schemes and policies related to rural development.
