About The Role
Accedo is looking for a talented Software Engineer (Roku) to join its growing Operations team in Delhi, India.At Accedo you will be part of a diverse and multi-disciplined team, gain exposure to cutting edge technologies and can work with some of the largest global media brands in the industry. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will help operate and enhance high performing and feature rich applications on Roku-based platforms and devices. This is an exciting position for a detail-oriented person who is passionate about technology. You will work on applications for world famous brands from driving improvements and solving problems that no one else can. Your role can also include customer discussions, requirements analysis and testing support. Requirements
What you’ll do
Driving improvements of Roku applications using Brightscript and improving Technical documentation, Customer configurations and deployments, Communication with customer technical contacts regarding improvements and dependencies. You’ll also work closely with regional teams across global Accedo offices, research and study new Roku OS versions as they come to market, including reviewing documentation and making recommendations for application improvements and adapting existing applications.
About You
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline.
- Experience with Roku application development is required.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- 1–2 years of experience developing Roku applications using Brightscript SceneGraph.
- Experience with other technology stacks (HTML/JS, Kotlin/Java, Swift/Objective-C, etc.) is beneficial.
- Server-side scripting skills (Node.js, PHP, Java) are a plus, though not essential.
- Experience using GitHub/Git for source code management.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development.
- Self-motivated and customer-focused, with strong English communication skills.
