Roku Engineer

You will be part of a diverse and multi-disciplined team at Accedo, gaining exposure to cutting edge technologies and working with some of the largest global media brands in the industry. Operating and enhancing high performing applications on Roku-based platforms and devices will be your primary responsibility. This role requires software development of front-end applications using Roku/Brightscript, working on applications for world-famous brands, driving improvements, and solving complex problems. Your role may also involve customer discussions, requirements analysis, and testing support, maintaining a close relationship with all Accedo offices globally. - Driving improvements of Roku applications using Brightscript - Improving Technical documentation, Customer configurations, and deployments - Communicating with customer technical contacts regarding improvements and dependencies - Working closely with regional teams across global Accedo offices - Researching and studying new Roku OS versions, including reviewing documentation and making recommendations for application improvements - Adapting existing applications Qualifications: - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline - Experience with Roku application development - 4+ years of professional software development experience - 2 years of experience developing Roku applications using Brightscript SceneGraph - Experience with other technology stacks such as HTML/JS, Kotlin/Java, Swift/Objective-C is beneficial - Server-side scripting skills (Node.js, PHP, Java) are a plus - Experience using GitHub/Git for source code management - Exposure to Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development - Self-motivated and customer-focused with strong English communication skills Accedo offers a competitive salary, health benefits, a yearly training budget for IT conferences or online training, a spacious office located in Delhi NCR, a hybrid working model, participation in company events, autonomy, and a fantastic working culture.
