What You’ll Do

As a Design & Simulation Intern, you'll be at the core of building robotic systems that transition from CAD to simulation to real-world execution.

You will:

• Design

  mechanical assemblies using CAD tools (

  PTC

  OnShape

  , Fusion 360, etc.)

• Simulate

  robots in virtual environments like

  NVIDIA Isaac Sim

  /

  MuJoCo

• Work with

  sensors and actuators

  in simulation (encoders, limit switches, cameras, etc.)
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to test motion profiles and robotic behaviors
• Add

  intelligence

  through AI & sensor fusion, enabling smarter automation
• Ensure the mechanical design is manufacturable using

  digital fabrication technologies

  (3D printing, CNC, etc.)
• Integrate Onshape simulation plugins into design iteration workflows

Must-Have Skills

• Strong CAD modeling skills

  (parts, assemblies, constraints, mechanical detailing) –

  Mandatory

• Simulation experience

  with tools like MuJoCo or Isaac Sim –

  Mandatory

• Proof of work is mandatory

  – Portfolio, GitHub, or project repository demonstrating CAD + simulation projects

• Advanced programming experience

  in Python and/or C++
• Knowledge of

  motion control systems

  (PID, kinematics)
• Passion for

  working with real hardware

  and solving

  real-world problems in agritech

Good to Have

• Familiarity with

  robotics system design

  and

  digital twin concepts

• Exposure to

  digital fabrication

  tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, or CNC
• Background in mechatronics, control systems, or automation engineering
