Role: Robotics Systems Intern – Design & Simulation 📍 Location : Maker Village, KINFRA Hi-Tech Park, Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala 📌 Job Type : Paid Internship (On-site, Full-time) | Duration : 3 Months About Us Grafito Innovations is a deep-tech startup building advanced precision farming automation solutions . Our mission is to increase agricultural efficiency and productivity while promoting sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices through robotics, AI, and cutting-edge engineering . What You’ll Do As a Design & Simulation Intern , you will: Design and export CAD assemblies into simulation environments like NVIDIA Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, PyBullet, CoppeliaSim, Webots, Gazebo , or similar tools. Simulate actuators, sensors (encoders, limit switches, cameras), and robotic behaviors in a digital twin environment. Contribute to the mechanical design process to ensure physical feasibility of designs and assemblies. Collaborate with embedded software engineers to validate motion profiles . Integrate Onshape simulation add-ons with current design workflows. ✅ Must-Have Skills Prior experience in CAD modeling (assemblies, constraints, mechanical detailing) – mandatory Simulation experience using MuJoCo or similar tools – mandatory A clear proof of work : Portfolio or GitHub repo showing projects involving both CAD and simulation Proficiency in Python and/or C++ , with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Experience with robotics system programming Understanding of motion control algorithms (e.g., PID, trajectory planning) Familiarity with simulation tools like Webots , Gazebo , or equivalents 💼 Good to Have Knowledge of ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) Experience integrating CAD models into simulation pipelines Academic or personal projects related to digital twins , robotic simulators , or kinematic modeling Background in mechatronics, robotics, or control systems 💰 Compensation Stipend : ₹15,000 – ₹18,000/month 🌱 Why Join Us?
