Risk and Compliance Manager - Real Estate

Role Overview: As a seasoned Risk & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for leading and strengthening the governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across real estate development operations. This strategic role will require you to support ethical practices, regulatory adherence, and enterprise-wide risk management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework tailored to real estate development - Identify and assess risks across projects, leasing, sales, facilities, and corporate functions - Conduct scenario analyses and support mitigation strategies and internal controls - Prepare risk dashboards and reports for senior leadership and the Board Compliance Management: - Ensure compliance with UAE laws, RERA/DLD regulations, AML requirements, and governance standards - Review contracts and policies for regulatory alignment - Lead compliance audits and liaise with external authorities - Implement whistleblowing, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption programs Governance & Advisory: - Draft and maintain internal compliance policies and codes of conduct - Train employees on risk awareness and ethical practices - Advise senior leaders on compliance implications of strategic initiatives - Investigate breaches and recommend corrective actions - Collaborate closely with Legal and contribute to Board-level reporting Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (masters or certifications like ICA, CRMA, CCEP, CIA preferred) - 7-10 years of experience in risk & compliance, ideally within real estate or construction - Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, AML, and international standards - Proven expertise in risk assessment, policy development, and stakeholder engagement - High ethical standards, discretion, and analytical thinking Additional Details: Email: sm.ldt@logesys.com (Note: The additional details provided in the job description have been included in the final output.),
