About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• ABAP Development : Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements to support SAP module functionality.
• RICEF Objects : Deliver high-quality development for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms, ensuring alignment with project requirements and SAP best practices.
• Technical Design & Estimation : Analyze functional requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and estimate development effort.
• Integration & Interfaces : Build and maintain interfaces using BAPI, BDC, RFC, ALE, IDoc, and flat file methods; ensure seamless integration with external systems.
• Forms & Reporting : Develop SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Classical, Interactive, and ALV reports using both object-oriented ABAP and function modules.
• Enhancements & Modifications : Implement enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots.
• Data Migration & Tools : Work with LSMW, Data Dictionary, and other tools for efficient data conversion and migration.
• UI and Advanced Technologies : Exposure to SAP Fiori and Java-based components; ability to integrate and extend SAP applications using modern UI frameworks.
• Testing & Debugging : Conduct rigorous unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Documentation & Support : Create technical documentation, support ongoing SAP projects, and provide production support when needed.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming tools, including Reports, Transactions, Enhancements, Dialog Programming, RFCs, and Workflows.
• Proven experience in RICEF development and integration techniques.
• Hands-on expertise in BAPI, ALE/IDoc, Smart Forms, and ALV reporting.
• Working knowledge of Fiori and Java is highly desirable.
• Understanding of SAP data structures and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
• Knowledge of CDS views and OData services.
• Familiarity with SAP upgrade and migration projects.
