Retail store construction engineering

As a project manager for new construction or renovation projects in retail spaces, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing out projects to ensure they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing project plans, setting objectives, defining scope, and managing project execution from initiation to completion. - Overseeing project budgets, controlling costs, managing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. - Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project flow and coordination. - Coordinating design and construction activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to designs and quality standards. - Ensuring all construction practices and site conditions meet regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and building standards. - Preparing and presenting project status reports, maintaining project documentation, and creating detailed reports for stakeholders. - Identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and resolving issues as they arise during the project lifecycle. You will need to have strong technical knowledge in civil engineering principles and practices, excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a keen understanding of the specific needs and challenges of retail construction projects.
