Role Description Retail Training & Product Merchandiser Location: Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore Experience: 2- 5 yrs Industry: Consumer Electronics / Lifestyle Accessories / Retail Key Responsibilities: 1. Retail Training: Conduct regular product training sessions for retail staff across stores and channels. Ensure frontline sales teams are well-versed with brand USPs, product features, and customer handling techniques. Develop simple, engaging training modules and presentations for new product launches. Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to improve retail performance. 2. Product Merchandising: Ensure brand and product visibility across all key retail touch points (shop-in-shop, multi-brand outlets, large format stores). Implement planograms and ensure displays are consistent with brand guidelines. Track and maintain in-store merchandising assets and branding materials. Monitor competitor presence and share actionable insights with the marketing and sales teams. 3. Store Visits & Reporting: Conduct regular store visits to audit display execution, product placement, and staff readiness. Provide structured reports on store performance, customer feedback, and merchandising effectiveness. Act as a link between sales, marketing, and retail teams to ensure alignment. 4. Launch Support & Events: Support product launches, promotional events, and in-store activations. Ensure seamless rollout of launch communication and training material at store level. Skills & Qualifications: Graduate, preferably with experience in Retail, Sales Training, or Merchandising. Strong communication, presentation, and people skills. Willingness to travel extensively.
