Retail Sales Manager

As a Retail Business Manager, your role will involve acquiring and developing retail business through team efforts and relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of top and bottom-line numbers and budgets for the assigned zone. Your key responsibilities will include: - Drawing budgets and formulating strategies to control acquisition costs. - Focusing on tie-ups with intermediaries for critical alliances at the Zonal/Regional level to foster mutually beneficial relationships. - Driving channel sales and owning the overall performance, profitability, and budget achievement. - Assisting operational managers in their sales initiatives by providing support from the head office. - Working closely with various departments to streamline operational procedures for faster closure of sales-related matters. - Providing regular feedback to top management on market knowledge, competition practices, and underwriting and operational procedures to facilitate advance planning. - Guiding the team by providing performance feedback and conducting monthly reviews and analysis with the CEO/Director. In terms of qualifications and requirements, you should: - Be a go-getter with an assertive approach. - Have the ability to work with both offline policies and online platforms. - Report to Channel Head/Sales Head depending on the location. - Have advanced knowledge of retail insurances, especially health and life policies. - Ideally, have exposure to SMEs and large corporate clients. - Possess at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience for the position of Sr. Manager. - Hold a minimum educational qualification of a Graduate degree, with additional diplomas/certifications being preferred. - Mandatory requirement includes experience in handling teams in Insurance retail sales.
