As a professional responsible for acquiring and developing retail business, you will be tasked with leading a team and nurturing relationships to achieve top and bottom-line targets within the zone. Your key responsibilities will include drawing budgets, devising strategies to manage acquisition costs, establishing tie-ups with intermediaries for critical alliances at the zonal/regional level, and driving channel sales to meet profitability goals. In this role, you will collaborate with operational managers to support their sales initiatives, liaise with various departments to streamline operational processes for faster sales closure, and provide market insights and competitive feedback to the management for strategic planning. Additionally, you will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the company's underwriting and operational procedures to ensure the successful attainment of objectives. Regular guidance and performance feedback to the team will be essential, and as a senior professional with team responsibilities, you will conduct monthly reviews and analyses with the CEO or Director for effective decision-making. The ideal candidate for this position should be proactive, assertive, and capable of working with both offline and online policies. Reporting to the Channel Head or Sales Head, you should possess advanced knowledge of various retail insurances, particularly health and life policies, with exposure to SMEs and large corporate clients being advantageous. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in insurance retail sales, including team management, is required for Senior Manager roles and above. A graduate degree is the minimum educational requirement, and additional diplomas or certifications in the field will be preferred.,
