Job Description

As a candidate for this position, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers. You will also develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year, strategically designed to bring in more revenue. Providing training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilizing cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will work closely with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows. It will be your responsibility to manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
