Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients according to recipes, chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces. Cooking: Assisting with cooking dishes, including operating ovens, stoves, grills, and other kitchen equipment. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area and helping with cleaning kitchen equipment. Stock Management: Assisting with inventory control and ordering supplies. Quality Control: Monitoring food quality and reporting any issues to senior chefs. Hygiene and Safety: Adhering to hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and storage. Teamwork: Working effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Skills and Qualities: Basic culinary knowledge and skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
