RESUME Program

One of our key programs in this effort is RESUME, which provides an opportunity for women who are on a career break to re-enter the workforce. Recruiting from this talent source is not only a competitive industry practice and a key inclusion strategy for us but also helps enhance diversity of thought at Fidelity.
Key Program Highlights
- A program for women on a career break to return to active employment through a six-month internship; candidates who successfully complete the internship will be converted to full-time associates.
- This program is designed for individuals who have been unemployed and out of the workforce for six months or more since their last employment.
- Please note that candidates who have engaged in part-time, full-time, apprenticeship, independent contracting roles or similar, or have been self-employed running their own businesses (either singly or as partnerships or establishing/controlling legal entities through Directorship or as a Promoter) and have received remuneration of any kind in the last six months will not be eligible. The eligibility period will be calculated based on the application date.
- At the time of the program, positions are available both in Bangalore and Chennai
- Structured onboarding program, buddy during the period of internship, and development opportunities to learn and integrate into project teams.
- The opportunity to work on live business projects and learn from functional experts.
Analytics And Research Overview
The Analytics & Research business unit at FMR India is a consulting and insights team that enables business leaders at Fidelity Investments to make informed decisions. The team uses a combination of business and investment research, advanced analytics, and decision sciences to solve business problems at the operational, tactical, and strategic level. The group houses top talent, with over three-fourths of the associates having a post graduate degree or PhD. The group provides a unique exposure to the financial services industry spanning workplace investing, retail investing, institutional investing, asset management and private equity.
The Roles We Have To Offer
What we are looking for
:
- Your expertise in data mining techniques and knowledge of visualization would be key for success
- You should possess expertise and substantial experience in Data Analytics and modelling.
- Experience in machine learning and the application of these techniques in business situations is desirable and exposure to building AI based solutions will be a positive
- You must possess working experience in SQL and Python
Expertise we are looking for
- Experience working in areas like descriptive and predictive analytics, with outstanding track record in managing stakeholders and working within mature teams
- MBA or master’s in operations research, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or Mathematics from leading Indian Universities with an excellent academic record
- Prior experience in financial services industry and experience in managing US clients will be preferred

- Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite on all business days for two weeks at a time in a Fidelity office, followed by two weeks working offsite.
