Restaurant Manager

Employment Type: Full-time About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Restaurant Manager to lead the onboard dining operations at Alfresco Grand Cruise, Guwahati’s flagship river cruise experience. The ideal candidate will bring operational excellence, strong leadership, and a sharp eye for guest satisfaction to manage a fast-paced, high-volume cruise restaurant that caters to tourists, private charters, and premium events. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations on the cruise, ensuring smooth service across all decks. Manage and coordinate F&B service teams including captains, stewards, and bartenders. Supervise inventory, procurement, and stock control of food, beverages, and supplies. Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and adherence to FSSAI and safety standards. Ensure prompt and high-quality guest service during daily cruises and private events. Plan and manage seating layouts, reservations, and guest flow during high-traffic hours. Liaise with the kitchen and operations team to maintain food quality and timely service. Train, schedule, and evaluate F&B service staff performance regularly. Manage POS, billing, and customer feedback systems onboard. Report daily sales, staff performance, and service issues to the management. Who We’re Looking For: A confident, hands-on leader with 7+ years of experience in restaurant or F&B operations, preferably in hotel, cruise, or premium dining setups. Strong communication and team management skills. Problem-solver who can think on their feet during live service hours. Sound understanding of inventory, vendor coordination, and compliance practices. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per cruise schedules. Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
