Job Description

As a Restaurant Captain, your role involves promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and serving only the highest quality products. You will establish rapport with guests to build loyalty, gather feedback for individual guest satisfaction, and handle team member relations by providing proper training and empowerment for problem-solving. Your key responsibilities will include: - Greeting and welcoming guests warmly and promptly - Managing reservations and seating plans effectively - Ensuring timely service of guests - Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction - Communicating clearly with guests and staff, and answering phone calls professionally - Assisting guests with menu selections and promptly addressing any needs - Anticipating and responding to unexpected guest needs tactfully - Applying service techniques correctly and serving with enthusiasm - Setting tables according to event type and service standards - Recording orders in Point of Sales systems - Managing and training restaurant staff efficiently - Coordinating with kitchen staff for smooth operations - Communicating menu questions, wait times, and special requests to the kitchen - Performing shift closing procedures and managing settlements - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant - Ensuring consistent implementation of brand standards and SOP's - Conducting monthly inventory checks on equipment and supplies - Fulfilling other food and beverage service duties as assigned by the manager Prerequisites for this role include: - Good command of spoken and written English - Pleasing personality - Excellent guest service skills - Good knowledge of food and beverage service Experience required: - 2-3 years of Food & Beverage work experience from a reputed restaurant - 1 year experience in a Captain position or similar role Compensation & Perks: - Annual CTC between 20,000 to 22,000 depending on experience - Food and accommodation provided Benefits: - Food provided - Leave encashment - Paid time off - Provident Fund Please note that the work location is in person.,
