he Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising service staff during shifts, ensuring high service standards, smooth operations, and guest satisfaction. He acts as a link between guests, stewards, kitchen, and management. Key Responsibilities 1. Service Operations Supervise daily restaurant service (breakfast/lunch/dinner) Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards Allocate sections and duties to stewards Monitor service speed, quality, and presentation Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve immediately 2. Staff Supervision Brief staff before each shift (menu, specials, instructions) Train new stewards on service standards and etiquette Ensure staff grooming, uniform, and punctuality Monitor staff discipline and productivity 3. Guest Handling Welcome and seat guests when required Take special orders and dietary requirements Ensure guest satisfaction during and after meals Handle VIP or special guests with priority 4. Coordination with Kitchen Coordinate with chefs regarding menu availability Communicate guest feedback to kitchen Ensure correct and timely food pickup and service Control food wastage during service 5. Billing & Controls Ensure correct order punching and billing (POS/manual) Verify bills before presenting to guests Monitor service-related losses and breakages Maintain daily service reports 6. Hygiene & Safety Ensure FSSAI food safety practices are followed Monitor FIFO practices in service area Ensure pest control and cleanliness standards Report maintenance issues immediately Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,620.29 - ₹21,979.00 per month Work Location: In person
