The Primo is an exciting new hospitality venue set to open in Ahmedabad, featuring a banquet space and three unique, chef-led restaurants with cuisines ranging from Asian-Peruvian fusion and North African-Levantine to Progressive Indian.

We are looking for experienced and motivated Restaurant Captains to lead our service teams on the floor. As a Captain, you will supervise 3–4 Servers, ensure high standards of guest service, and be responsible for the smooth coordination of all front-of-house operations during service.

The Role: Captain

As a Captain, you will serve as the key link between the guests, your service team, and the kitchen. You will oversee the dining area during service, manage table assignments, support Servers, and resolve any guest concerns to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Servers on the floor
• Greet and engage guests, ensuring excellent service standards
• Assign sections and responsibilities to service staff
• Monitor table flow and guest satisfaction throughout service
• Ensure timely order taking and delivery in coordination with kitchen and bar
• Handle special requests, complaints, and feedback professionally
• Train and guide junior staff on service protocols and menu knowledge
• Ensure all hygiene and safety protocols are followed consistently

Who We’re Looking For

• Prior experience as a Captain, Senior Server, or Supervisor in fine dining or premium hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Deep understanding of food and beverage service techniques
• Ability to manage service timing, team coordination, and guest expectations
• Fluent in English and Hindi (other languages are a plus)
• Confident, well-groomed, and service-oriented
• Flexible with work shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Calm and composed under pressure, with a guest-first mindset
