Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and well-spoken Restaurant Captain with experience in cafés or hotels. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and train staff, and ensure smooth restaurant operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily floor operations and ensure smooth service flow.
• Greet and interact with guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
• Train, mentor, and monitor service staff on SOPs, upselling techniques, and customer engagement.
• Allocate duties and manage shift schedules for service staff.
• Ensure service areas are well-prepared, clean, and properly set up before each shift.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
• Maintain coordination between kitchen and service staff for timely and accurate service.
• Monitor food and beverage quality standards during service.
• Assist in creating a positive and motivated work environment for the team.
• Support management in achieving revenue targets through upselling and promotions.
• Maintain records of staff performance and report to Restaurant Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Captain/Shift In-charge/Team Leader in cafés or hotels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good knowledge of F&B service standards and guest handling.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
