Restaurant Captain

Position: Captain Location: Al Arabian Express Restaurant Employment Type: Full-time / On-site About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and professional Restaurant Captain to join our team at Al Arabian Express. The Captain will be responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining service standards, and delivering excellent guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a high standard of hospitality. Supervise and guide waiters, stewards, and service staff during operations. Allocate tables and manage reservations to optimize guest flow. Ensure the restaurant floor is clean, well-organized, and service-ready at all times. Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely service. Check food & beverage quality before serving to guests. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and politely. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team for smooth operations. Train new staff on service standards, restaurant policies, and guest interaction. Monitor stock of cutlery, crockery, and service equipment. Ensure upselling of menu items and promotions to maximize revenue. Maintain service records, billing accuracy, and daily reports. Skills & Requirements:Minimum 2–4 years of experience as Captain/Head Waiter in a reputed restaurant or hotel. Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure. Problem-solving attitude with customer-first approach. Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing. Well-groomed, professional appearance, and courteous behavior.
