Reservations Manager

A reservation manager oversees all aspects of a hotel's booking process, including managing inquiries, taking and confirming reservations, and handling guest complaints. They are responsible for revenue management through rate and availability management, training staff, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth and profitable operation. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to maximize revenue and ensure guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Reservation and booking management:

• Handle incoming inquiries from guests, travel agents, and companies via phone or other platforms.
• Accurately input and manage reservation details in the system.
• Confirm reservations and manage room availability across all booking platforms.

• Revenue management:

• Set room rates and forecast revenue.
• Promote reservation services and upsell additional products or services.
• Monitor revenue activity to ensure profitability.

• Guest relations and problem-solving:

• Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries, issues, and complaints.
• Address and resolve conflicts with professionalism.

• Staff management and training:

• Recruit, train, and manage reservation staff.
• Delegate tasks, review schedules, and observe staff performance.

• Administrative and operational support:

• Coordinate with front desk and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records and perform data analysis.
