Role Description

Reservation Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the reservations department
  • Oversee room allocation, rate loading, and inventory management
  • Ensure accuracy in all booking details and reservation records
  • Analyze demand trends and assist in forecasting
  • Improve booking conversion through effective communication and sales techniques
  • Train and guide the reservations team
  • Handle VIP, group, and corporate bookings professionally
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure high service standards
  • Work closely with revenue and sales teams to implement strategies
  • Monitor booking pace, pickup, and channel performance

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Prior experience as a Reservation Manager or senior reservations role
  • Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and market trends
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy
  • Proficiency in PMS/CRS systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
