Research Officer in the Faculty of Law

(to commence as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)Applicants should possess a PhD degree, as well as knowledge and understanding of China. Work experience in tertiary institution is also preferred. They should have highly developed communication skills, strong organisational skills, and excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) skills. The candidates should demonstrate experience of managing projects and organizing events, the ability to work effectively as part of a team on a variety of projects, be able to work independently, professionally, and to a high standard under time constraints. They should also be familiar with web maintenance and have a facility for social media and public relations management. The appointee will work closely with members in the Faculty to carry out China-related projects. They will also perform any other duties as assigned.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.The University only accepts online application for the above post.
