Research & Content Associate

The Research & Content Executive will be responsible for conducting field- and desk-based research, developing high-quality written content, and supporting project documentation for development programs. The role requires strong analytical ability, excellent writing skills, and a clear understanding of social-sector themes and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct desk research and field-level research to support program design and implementation
• Prepare project concept notes, proposals, reports, case studies, and presentations
• Develop content for donor reports, government submissions, project documentation, and internal records
• Edit and proofread project documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards
• Assist in baseline studies, needs assessments, and impact documentation
• Coordinate with program, field, and MIS teams to collect and validate data and narratives
• Maintain proper documentation of research findings, reports, and content archives
• Support grant applications and donor communication materials as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Journalism, or related fields
• 1–3 years of experience in research, content writing, or documentation in the NGO / development sector
• Strong writing and editing skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/regional language preferred)
• Ability to synthesize data into clear, structured, and impactful content
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic research tools
• Good understanding of development programs, CSR projects, or government schemes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
