Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Mutual Fund Research Analyst to join our investment research team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring mutual fund products, analyzing market trends, and generating insights to support our investment strategies and client recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and performance analysis of mutual funds across equity, debt, hybrid, and thematic categories.

• Evaluate fund manager strategies, portfolio composition, risk-return profiles, and consistency of performance.

• Track and interpret key economic and market indicators impacting mutual fund performance.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive mutual fund database and scoring models.

• Prepare periodic research reports, fund comparisons, and recommendations for internal and client use.

• Collaborate with the product and advisory teams to deliver insights-driven solutions to clients.

• Monitor regulatory updates from SEBI and AMFI affecting mutual funds and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.

• CFA, CFP, NISM Mutual Fund Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• 1–3 years of experience in mutual fund research or investment advisory.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data tools, and financial modeling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
