Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Familiar with various test parameters for chemical, shrinkage, color fastness, and physical testing of textiles.
Knowledge of analytical testing parameters.
Review buyer test reports to ensure compliance with updated test methods and requirements.
Write effective emails to communicate test results from respective departments.
Ensure testing norms adhere to international standards (AATCC, ASTM, ISO, GB, AS).
Assess garment appearance after washing/dry cleaning and grade colorfastness test results.
Understand buyer standards, regulations, and testing requirements.
Determine pass/fail status according to buyer specifications.
Periodically review and evaluate testing procedures and buyer standards from SharePoint to maintain quality compliance.
Ensure error-free test reports and meet a minimum output of 25 reports per day.
Verify correct test results from the lab and ensure timely delivery of test reports within customer TAT.
Able to prepare manual reports using MS Word
