We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and orchestrate the Program Increments for our Agile Release Train (ART). The Assurance ART ensures the delivery of secure, high-performing products by proactively identifying and eliminating vulnerabilities, fostering a culture of security, validating system performance under real-world conditions and providing a wide range of technical expertise and knowledge. The ART is focused on delivering enterprise-grade performance testing, security frameworks, and certification services. The RTE will act as a servant leader and coach, facilitating Agile processes and program execution, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment across teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate ART Events: PI (Program Increment) Planning, system demos, retrospectives, scrum of scrums, and ART syncs.
- Program Execution: Drive delivery of features and capabilities related to performance testing, security compliance, and certification readiness.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify, track, and resolve cross-team risks, impediments, and dependencies.
- Metrics & Reporting: Monitor ART health using flow metrics, velocity, quality, and security KPIs; provide transparency to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of relentless improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and innovation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, including 5+ years in Agile/SAFe environments and release management.
- Understanding of retail and enterprise banking platforms, including core banking, digital channels, payment systems, and corporate banking tools.
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, production support, and system reliability practices.
- Skilled in managing PI planning, backlog refinement, and program boards using JIRA.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business, development, QA, and support teams.
- Nice to have SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
