We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) for the Murex platform, ensuring seamless delivery of complex financial technology solutions. The RTE will act as a leader and coach for the ART, driving alignment across teams, managing dependencies, and fostering continuous improvement.
Facilitate ART events: PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and other SAFe ceremonies.
Coordinate delivery of features and capabilities across multiple teams working on the Murex platform.
Manage cross-team dependencies and risks proactively.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business owners, product management, and development teams.
Track ART progress, maintain transparency, and report on key performance indicators.
Drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards in the financial domain.
Career Growth Path
Short-Term (1-2 years): Deepen expertise in SAFe and Agile leadership; become a trusted advisor for ART execution and Murex delivery.
Mid-Term (3-5 years): Progress to Solution Train Engineer (STE) or Agile Program Manager, overseeing multiple ARTs and large-scale programs.
Long-Term (5+ years): Move into Enterprise Agile Coach, Head of Agile Delivery, or Program Director roles, influencing organizational transformation.
Must have
8+ years in IT delivery roles, with at least 3+ years as an RTE or similar leadership role.
Deep knowledge of Capital Markets (FX, derivatives, fixed income, etc.).
Familiarity with architecture, Murex, or other treasury products.
Excellent organization, facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent Agile certification. KPIs & Success Metrics 1. PI Planning Effectiveness
% of objectives achieved per PI ( 90%). 2. Delivery Predictability
Predictability Measure and % of committed features delivered on time ( 85%). 3. Dependency Management
Zero critical unresolved dependencies at PI end. 4. Risk Management
% of identified risks mitigated before impacting delivery. 5. Stakeholder Satisfaction
Feedback score post-PI ( 4/5). 6. Continuous Improvement
Number of actionable improvement items implemented per PI. 7. Compliance & Governance
Zero major audit findings related to ART processes.
Nice to have
Experience with Murex platform (Front-to-Back modules, trade processing, risk management, etc.).
Exposure to cloud migration or modernization projects.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance in Investment banking/ Capital markets.
