About the Role:

Relationship Managers (RMs) are integral to the Banks frontline sales team. They are responsible for acquiring new customers, managing existing relationships, and driving business growth through the sale of loan products. RMs lead a team of executives and ensure the expansion of the lending book through both New-to-Bank (NTB) acquisition and deepening of the Existing-to-Bank (ETB) portfolio. They are expected to map markets, understand customer needs, and deliver superior service to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive top-line business targets by sourcing loans through channel teams.
  • Build and nurture relationships with bank branches and cross-sell banking products.
  • Launch and promote new products in the market.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
  • Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from login to disbursement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Credit, Operations, etc.) for seamless processing.
  • Acquire and manage channel partners (Connectors) for business sourcing.
  • Strengthen branch relationships and monitor performance of Assistant RMs.
  • Ensure quality sourcing by minimizing fraudulent or risky proposals.
  • Own and manage the mapped customer book and lifecycle.
  • Handle renewals, deferrals, and ensure timely interest servicing.
  • Increase product penetration per customer and aim for full relationship banking.
  • Drive productivity of mapped Relationship Officers.
  • Leverage digital platforms (e.g., Project Neo, STP Journeys, Business App, Siddhi) to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services.

  • Awareness of industry trends, technology, and product innovations.
