Relationship Manager - Supply Chain Finance

As a Relationship Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage and expand the Supply Chain Finance Portfolio of the organization. This involves sourcing new clients and fostering deeper business relationships within the assigned portfolio. Supply Chain Finance (SCF) serves as an unsecured working capital facility for the supply chain partners of a large corporate, such as dealers/distributors or vendors/suppliers. This sector is experiencing rapid growth with significant untapped market potential, offering you the opportunity for substantial professional development. Your duties will include onboarding anchor corporates for dealer or vendor programs, and subsequently providing financing to their dealers or vendors. You will be tasked with identifying anchor corporates, vendors, and dealers in your market, and engaging with the entire vendor/dealer ecosystem on behalf of the bank. Meeting clients to present dealer finance, vendor bill discounting, and related products will be part of your regular client engagement activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving book growth and profitability within your portfolio. This will involve interacting with corporate relationships at the Zonal/Regional office level to source customer leads, analyzing balance sheets, P&L items, and preparing funding proposals based on exposure levels. Collaborating with Operations, Credit, and Risk teams to facilitate documentation, sanction, and disbursement of facilities will also be essential. Monitoring portfolio quality, ensuring timely limit renewals, tracking and recovering overdues and NPAs, as well as proactively managing stress cases within set timelines will be crucial. Compliance with regulatory requirements must be diligently met within specified timelines. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in supply chain finance and a proven track record of managing SME corporates for their working capital needs.
