Job Description

The role is responsible for working on sales leads generated through call centers and internet channels, converting leads into business, and achieving assigned sales targets for the vertical. The position also involves long-term relationship management with customers and coordination with the sales team to ensure quality business and persistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on leads provided by call centers and internet platforms and convert them into successful sales.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as their Relationship Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to optimize lead conversion and business outcomes.
  • Allocate, monitor, and manage leads for team members effectively.
  • Be responsible for individual as well as overall team sales targets.
  • Ensure high quality of business and maintain persistency levels.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the lead management system regularly.
  • Provide daily reports on applications logged and sales progress to the reporting manager without fail.
  • Ensure 100% utilization and support of provided leads.
  • Act as a team player and contribute to achieving organizational goals.

  • Weighted Adjusted New Business Premium (WANBP)
  • Number of policies issued
  • Business quality and persistency

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduation / Post-Graduation / Professional Degree.
  • Preferred experience of

    6 months to 4 years

    in insurance sales or relevant sales roles.

Knowledge and skills desired :

  • Technical/ Functional Essential: Knowledge of insurance sales; Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Basic knowledge on Computer Operations
  • Desirable: Knowledge about the insurance industry; Should be high on initiative; Well groomed and confident

  • Well groomed, confident , should have good communication skills
  • Should have good public speaking and facilitation skills
  • Should be well versed with the local language and the mapped area
