Role Overview
The
Relationship Manager – Debt Syndication
will play a crucial role in assessing client requirements, structuring financial proposals, coordinating with lenders, and ensuring seamless execution of mandates. This role requires strong analytical skills, in-depth understanding of financial products, and the ability to manage both client and lender relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements to assess client financial health and fundability
- Prepare teasers, financial proposals, and feasibility presentations for fundraising/credit requirements
- Structure, draft, and present financing proposals to lenders and investors
- Liaise with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for efficient mandate execution
- Develop a solid understanding of various banking and financial products
- Build, manage, and strengthen long-term client relationships
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments, industry research, and competitor analysis
- Manage end-to-end deal documentation, coordination, and closure
- Ensure compliance with lender requirements and internal documentation standards
Core Functional Skills
- Strong analytical capability and financial statement analysis
- Understanding of credit assessment, risk parameters, and financial ratios
- Knowledge of debt instruments including:
- Working Capital
- Term Loans
- Structured Finance
- Asset-Backed Financing
- Excellent research ability and proficiency in financial modelling
- Ability to prepare professional presentations, credit notes, and investment proposals
- Understanding of banking processes, documentation requirements, and compliance frameworks
