Job Description

The role of a Relationship Manager-Commercial Vehicle in the Rural Banking department involves providing financial solutions tailored to the needs of Automobile (Commercial Vehicle/ New Car/ Used Car) customers while ensuring exceptional customer service. Collaborating closely with product, operations, and underwriting teams is essential to drive customer acquisition, servicing, and relationship deepening. The primary goal is to offer customers a top-notch banking experience, positioning the bank as their preferred financial partner. The role also includes acquiring Automobile business clients and managing relationships within a designated branch to contribute to overall branch banking objectives. Responsibilities include acquiring new customers for Dealership business, conducting thorough credit assessments, and delivering comprehensive solutions. Building strong relationships with existing customers through communication channels like mailers and phone calls to provide updates on interest rates and product offerings is crucial. Empaneling new Dealers, DSA, and DST in the market, generating sales leads through referrals and promotional activities, and cross-selling are key aspects of the role. Conducting policy training, resolving customer queries proactively, and staying updated on competitor products and market best practices are also vital responsibilities. Additionally, the Relationship Manager should track channels and team performance for quality sourcing and portfolio health, recruit and train team members, identify potential markets, and manage relationships with various partners. Sharing competitor insights with the product team, evaluating growth strategies, recommending process enhancements for service efficiency, and planning sales promotions and marketing initiatives are part of the role. In terms of managerial and leadership responsibilities, the Relationship Manager is responsible for hiring and retaining top talent, monitoring key performance indicators related to productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates, and providing support to teams to achieve growth targets. Training team members is also a crucial aspect of the managerial role. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a graduation degree in BA / BCom / BBA / BSc / BTech / BE or any other relevant field and have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.,
