Relationship Manager (Channel Sales – IFA)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and channel partners.
• Drive sales of Mutual Fund products through IFA networks and channel distribution.
• Achieve AUM, sales targets, and business growth objectives as per assigned territory.
• Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and investment awareness programs for IFAs.
• Acquire new IFAs and onboard them into the AMC’s distribution network.
• Ensure regular engagement through meetings, calls, and reviews to increase wallet share.
• Track competitor activities and market trends to support business strategy.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports and update sales CRM tools.
• Support branch-level sales initiatives and assist in promotional activities.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Mutual Fund industry, AMC, or Financial Distribution Channel.
• Mandatory: Worked in an AMC (Asset Management Company).
• Strong knowledge of Mutual Fund products, SEBI regulations, and distribution ecosystem.
• Proven experience in managing IFA relationships and channel sales.
• Good understanding of investment products, AUM growth, SIP, STP, and switching strategies.
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to meet revenue targets and handle territory-based sales.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation.
  

Preferred (Optional)

• NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification preferred or mandatory depending on AMC.
• Experience in handling HNI clients through IFA connections.
• Strong market intelligence and competitor mapping experience.
