Job Description

Job Purpose

Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales function in the country and develop & implement the Standards sales strategy in line with overall objectives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Driving sales objectives and achieving commercial budgets and targets

2. Building a high-performing sales team by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance

3. Identifying and acquiring new customers and up-selling to the existing customer base

4. Building strong relationships with key accounts

5. Ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning

6. Work in liaison with the marketing team on product launch and development of long-term strategies

7. Implement approved promotional plans through the reporting field force to achieve the set objectives.

8. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts

9. Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders

10. Coordinating with other teams to ensure the smooth delivery of products & services

11. Analysing market trends and competitors activities and formulating strategies to respond to these.

Experience Required

1. Charismatic leader with the executive presence to navigate and influence key stakeholders at the most senior level and at the same time energize, invigorate and inspire the broader organization especially the front-line sales team. Independent yet extremely collaborative to work in matrix organisation.

2. High achiever with a proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth even in constrained environments.

3. Ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the organization with an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and creative approach to develop innovative ideas for growth.

4. Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.

5. Strong communication skills, energy, and vigour to take the business to the next level.

Desired Candidate

1. 10-18 years of work experience in Sales & Marketing of similar products.

2. Hands-on leader who is a strong coach & mentor with a strong track record of building & leading high-performing sales teams

3. Extensive experience of managing channel Dealer, Distributor, retailer

4. Clear understanding of the target segment and proven record of developing and executing sales strategy.

5. Financial Knowledge to understand and analyse, costs, contributions, expenses, and profitability variances with respect to budgets and take corrective actions.
