Regional Sales Engineers

You will be responsible for sales and promotion of world-class American Automation products tailored for the Indian market. Your key tasks will include making technical presentations to customers, conducting thorough technical and business needs analysis, and recommending suitable products. In addition, you will be expected to follow up on sales leads, proactively generate new leads through telephone and email outreach, and make direct sales to customers while also providing support to local distributors. It will be part of your role to train distributor sales engineers on the company's product line. As a Regional Sales Engineer, you will be based in one of the identified 75 marketing areas in India and will be required to travel to customer accounts within your assigned area. Attending local trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums, and conferences will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will receive training in strategic selling skills, technical product knowledge, and periodic travel to the United States for professional development. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma along with a proven track record of significant sales in technical products across any industry. Strong computer skills and understanding of mechatronics concepts are essential. The ideal candidate will be assertive, dynamic, and confident with excellent communication skills in English as well as proficiency in local languages. You should be adept at delivering presentations to both small and large groups, have a basic understanding of the sales process, and demonstrate a willingness to learn strategic selling skills from industry experts. Good communication and leadership abilities are also crucial for success in this role. Applicants for the position of Regional Sales Engineer should have a minimum of one year of sales experience.
