Regional Safety Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Enforce company policies and procedures and QHSE regulations and standards

2. Inspect worksites and review working condition

3. Conduct training programs on different topic including Quality, Safety & Environment

aspects as like Food Safety, FSSAI, FOSTAC, Working at height, PPEs, mock drills, etc.

4. Conduct toolbox talk on a daily basis covering different topics related to the QHSE and keeping the records of the same

5. Ensure all personnel should adhere to QHSE requirement and necessary guidelines to be implemented on floor with the support of site manager

6. Ensure the ISO standards documentations are in place and are updated on a regular interval

7. Conduct monthly inspection of the site taking into reference the standard checklist and inspecting the various safety related equipment as like Firefighting system, PPEs, First Aid box etc. and share the deviation on a regular basis to the warehouse manager and work for the closure of any deviation or gap

8Investigating and preparing near miss/incident/accidents report and for further review and submission to the top management

9. Highlight unsafe acts and unsafe condition to the warehouse team on a daily basis and work closely on the closure of the observation raised

10. Participate in Daily Gemba Walk with team and Internal & External Audits and follow-up for the closure

11. Issue work permit to all the non-routine activities performed in the warehouse

12. Conduct mock drills, safety Committee meetings on a quarterly basis covering different scenarios

13. Creating and updating the On-site emergency response plan and other related documents

14. Tracking of the legal compliance as per QHSE

15. Conducting inspections as per Schedule 4 of FSSAI

16. Preparation of CAPA and RCA in coordination with the site managers

17. willing to travel

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate ,Diploma in QHSE
