Job Summary:

Regional Operations Manager First Mile & RTS

Key Responsibilities:

First Mile Operations:

  • Oversee and manage daily first-mile operations (pickup, sorting, forwarding) across assigned hubs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, 3PL partners, and seller support to ensure timely and accurate pickups.
  • Monitor SLA adherence, pickup accuracy, and transit compliance across all operational nodes.
  • Optimize vehicle routing, manpower allocation, and hub throughput for efficiency and cost control.

RTS (Return to Seller) Management:

  • Ensure smooth processing and dispatch of RTS shipments in coordination with last-mile and warehouse teams.
  • Analyze root causes for RTS and implement corrective actions to reduce returns and operational loss.
  • Coordinate with seller performance teams and logistics partners to improve NDR (Non-Delivery Report) closure and RTS timeliness.

People & Process Management:

  • Lead and mentor area/hub managers, field executives, and support staff.
  • Implement SOPs and compliance protocols across operations in line with company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across pickup and return operations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Pickup SLA, RTS TAT, Cost per Shipment, FDM accuracy, etc.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure proper MIS and dashboards are maintained at all locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred from Tier 1/ Tier 2 college).
  • 58 years of experience in logistics/e-commerce operations, preferably in First Mile, Fulfilment, or RTS management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics networks, hub operations, and courier partner management.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams, multi-site operations, and high shipment volumes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and operational dashboards (experience with TMS/WMS tools preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and a hands-on approach to execution.

Location Requirements:

  • Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to
