Job Description

As a Regional Manager Sales at our company, your role will involve establishing sales objectives, creating sales plans, and setting quotas for the assigned area/region to support national objectives. You will review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders, aiming to increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship. Your responsibilities will include meeting region/area sales financial objectives, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and analyzing variances to initiate corrective actions. You will be expected to maintain and expand the customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities. Additionally, you will recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, packaging and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors. Your role will involve implementing trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending, ultimately accomplishing sales and organizational missions by achieving related results as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Establish sales objectives, create sales plans, and set quotas for the assigned area/region - Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders - Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship - Meet region/area sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and analyzing variances - Maintain and expand the customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities - Recommend product lines, identify new product opportunities, packaging and service changes, survey consumer needs and trends, and track competitors - Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending - Accomplish sales and organizational missions by achieving related results as needed - Build relationships externally with customers and suppliers, and internally with different related and supporting departments - Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long-term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives - Organize and attend events and exhibitions Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA - 5 years & above experience, preferably in the F&F industry - Skills required: Excellent presentation, business communication, negotiation, and leadership qualities. Multilingual abilities are an added advantage.,
