Robotics and Industrial Automation Projects

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • To enhance the market share of Robotic & Industrial Automation Projects in the respective Zone.
  • Strategize with the corporate team for effective sales and marketing approaches for Robot products, Systems and Turnkey projects, Assembly Line Automation, Inspection Systems. Welding Lines, BIW Lines, EOL, material handling Systems , Precision Vision & Metrology systems , PDI Lines , CNC Machines in various application , SPM Machines , Automotive Power trains and automation systems.
  • Identify potential clients and build the database.
  • Representing TI Machine Building at various marketing venues (trade shows, Industrial machines & Automation Tenders , CNC Machines , etc.) with emphasis on lead follow up and sales acquisition.
  • Sales planning and forecasting for assigned territory and accounts.
  • Own the customer relationship and stand for delivering promised support from the organization.
  • Make presentations, submit proposals, get the DAP and close deals with proper execution.
  • Add on experience in tubes industrial machine – Tubes mills , Straightening machines, tubes bending machine , draw benched , swagging machine ,precision cut to length machine , pilgers , honing machines , Cold rolled & Hot Rolled mills will be add on advantages.
  • Guide Proposal & Installation and Commissioning teams during project execution.
  • Coordinate between Customers, Internal teams, Vendors, System integrator for smooth project execution.
  • Guide teams to Design, Program, Document and Implement the Robot Systems.
  • Provide assistance to users.
  • Ensure timely preparation and reporting of all the application related MIS.
  • Provide complete solution to customers.
  • Iot & Industry 4.0 experienced,
  • Industry preferences: Automation, Robot, CNC Machine tool Industry. Steel Plants &
  • Equipment

Profile Expectation

  • BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Mechatronics.
  • 8-16 years of experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in Automation sales.
  • Knowledge of Factory/ Industrial automation systems and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deliver to set deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving and statistical analysis skills.
  • Proven ability in multitasking and prioritizing workload.
  • Proven ability to interact with customers and convince on techno commercial aspects.
  • Flair to Travel extensively, meet creative people in the engineering world.
  • Proficient to use MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Siemens PLM Teamcenter, MES systems
  • Well aware of 3D Design software tools – AutoCAD, Solid works, CATIA
