Job Description

Role Overview: As a Regional Credit Manager for the South Region, your main responsibility will be to oversee a team of Credit Managers/Area Credit Managers. You will primarily focus on managing secured Home Loans/LAP or working capital business. Your role will involve proposing, making decisions, and recommending loan requests in alignment with the bank's standards. It will also require you to assess and evaluate the creditworthiness of clients. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct due diligence and risk analysis during the evaluation of loan applications. - Report any fraudulent applications identified during the process. - Evaluate and process end-to-end loan applications within the agreed Turn-Around Time (TAT) timelines. - Plan key performance parameters for your team based on Key Result Areas (KRAs) of both the team and individuals. - Ensure your team meets the KRAs related to TAT, productivity, delinquency, Post Disbursement Document (PDD), audit compliance, customer TAT, and approval rates. - Develop new products, policies, and processes based on the requirements of the local market and changes in existing policies and products. - Monitor approvals of high-value proposals from retail and corporate clients for all products and keep an eye on early defaults. - Ensure non-delinquency and create debt collection mechanisms for the timely receipt of money and recovery of bad debts. - Analyze frequent delinquencies to maintain a healthy portfolio and assist internal audit for the portfolio. - Manage internal and external customer relationships and resolve customer-related issues within defined timelines. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in credit management or related field. - Strong analytical and risk assessment skills. - Knowledge of loan application evaluation processes. - Ability to develop and implement new products, policies, and processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Understanding of market intelligence and industry trends.
