Job Tile: Recruitment Specialist

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Recruitment Specialist, based in Chennai. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in alignment with the companys hiring goals and workforce planning objectives.
  • Create, manage, and publish compelling job postings to maximize reach and visibility.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, leveraging networking, referrals, and proactive sourcing.
  • Screen applications and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and alignment with organizational culture.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers and negotiating compensation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs, define job roles, and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates and hiring managers to ensure a transparent and efficient hiring process.
  • Handle onboarding processes to ensure seamless new hire integration and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain and update Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for accurate data management, reporting, and compliance with recruitment standards.
  • Monitor and optimize employer branding initiatives, promoting the company as an employer of choice through various platforms and outreach programs.

Stay updated on labor laws, hiring regulations, and market trends to ensure recruitment practices remain compliant and competitive

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment.
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, or Energy sectors is a plus.
  • Strong skills in recruiting, hiring, and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience in training and onboarding new hires.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
