Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsibility to source, negotiate and purchase materials & services from vendors and need to have market knowledge.
Evaluate vendors' quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required.
Being in charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and expediting on purchase orders delivery.
Evaluate the suppliers performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best price.
Constant follow-up with the finance department for the supplier payments and documentation to ensure payment release on time.
Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to the delivery of long and short lead time requirements.
Update the procurement tracker daily.
Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the supervisors from time to time.
Willingness to work for other business units as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Adequate knowledge in understanding the basic functions and specifications in purchasing terms.
A Dynamic person with a minimum of two to three years in a similar capacity is a MUST.
Any degree / Engineering
Exposure to Oil and Gas, EPC environment desirable.
Analytical thinking & attention to detail.
Negotiation & communication skills.
Multi-tasking & result-oriented.

MS Office and working knowledge of ERP is a MUST
