Job Description

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies for recycled staple

fibers.

  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers of recycled fibers .

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, volumes, and long-term supply agreements.

  • Build strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity, innovation, and scalability.

Technical & Quality Expertise

  • Evaluate recycled staple fiber specifications including:

Denier, cut length, crimp, tenacity, elongation, shrinkage, and cleanliness

Consistency of fiber performance across lots

  • Understand mechanical and chemical recycling processes and their impact on fiber

quality.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to approve new materials and

suppliers.

  • Support troubleshooting related to fiber performance in spinning, nonwoven, or

downstream processes.

Supply Chain & Operations

  • Manage supply planning to ensure on-time delivery and inventory optimization.

  • Monitor risks related to raw material availability, logistics, geopolitical factors, and

capacity constraints.

  • Coordinate with logistics partners on transportation, lead times, and cost efficiency.

  • Support demand forecasting and capacity planning for recycled fiber requirements.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Ensure sourcing aligns with sustainability goals and circular economy principles.

  • Manage certifications and compliance (e.g., GRS, OBP, ISO, Ockeo Tex

customer-specific requirements).

  • Support audits and customer sustainability assessments.

Cost & Performance Management

  • Drive continuous cost improvement initiatives without compromising quality or

sustainability.

  • Analyze market trends for recycled fibers, feedstock availability, and pricing

dynamics.

  • Develop KPIs related to supplier performance, quality, cost, delivery, and ESG

compliance.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate

Experience: 10+ years in in Plastics, Sustainability, Waste management, recycling or any

other related field.
