Job Title: Record-to-Report (RTR) Specialist / Senior Specialist
📍 Location: Hyderabad, India
Minimum Experience
3–5 years of relevant operational experience in multi-national companies
Minimum 1 year of supervisory/team lead experience in Record-to-Report (RTR) processes
Qualifications
Required: Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Required Knowledge & Skills
3–5 years of operational experience in a multinational company environment
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, financial statements, and footnotes
Experience supporting SOX compliance and working with internal/external auditors
Proven track record of supervisory experience (min. 1 year) in RTR
processes including:
Period-end close coordination
Account reconciliations
Fixed assets
Project accounting
Lease accounting
Intercompany accounting
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and success in the following areas:
Managing and monitoring RTR activities, including coordinating individual and team tasks in line with client policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assisting in the review of SLAs and KPIs and providing recommendations for improvements
Supporting transition of RTR activities from client to PwC, including onboarding of resources
Utilizing RTR software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft D365 (F&O), Blackline, Trintech, etc.
Developing and updating detailed process documentation and desktop procedures
Escalating service delivery or production issues and collaborating with client/management for resolution
Identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational excellence
Demonstrating understanding of adjacent Finance and Accounting functions including:
Accounts Receivable
Billing & Collections
Accounts Payable
FP&A
Tax and Treasury
