Job Title: Gym Receptionist

Location: Navaikulam, Trivandrum
Reports To: Gym Manager or Front Desk Supervisor

Job Summary:

As the first point of contact for members and guests, the Gym Receptionist plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming, professional environment. You will manage front desk operations, handle membership inquiries, support gym staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries about memberships, classes, and services.
• Check-in members and manage new registrations using gym management software.
• Schedule personal training sessions, classes, and appointments.
• Handle payments, process sales of merchandise or supplements, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with brochures or promotional material.
• Communicate clearly with trainers and staff regarding client needs or issues.
• Monitor gym access to ensure members follow facility policies and guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, member complaints, or security concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or POS systems.
• Professional, positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Interest or background in fitness or wellness.
• Knowledge of gym software systems .

Working Hours:

• Flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
